Amish Mud Sales
The term mud sale is named for the often-muddy condition of the ground in early spring. As the snow melts and the ground softens it is a good idea to wear appropriate footwear. Amish quilts, antiques, handmade crafts and furniture as well as lumber, buggies and lawn equipment can be found at these popular events.
Most sales begin at 8:30 a.m. sharp. Some of the fire companies have breakfast available prior to the sale. Delicious homemade food is always available for purchase. Many people come out, not only for the bargains but to experience some Lancaster County flavor.
